spaindave Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I have had this problem for over a year now. Nothing serious, just niggley and frustrating. car has very SLIGHT misfire when driving off or when pulling away after changing gear. Not really noticeable when clogging the accelerator down, but I do not normally drive like that. Have had car serviced, MOT'd, spent £1,000 on new plugs and valve lifter but no change at all. Engine diagnostics at two garages show nothing wrong. I have been driving for 52 years, over a million miles and I know how to drive. Perhaps I am being too sensitive, but my wife's old Proton 17 years old drives as smooth as whipped chocolate cream. Quote
