mx-3 Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Hi Guys, I`ve brought myself a 04, 2l hdi vtr estate. The steering seems quite heavy compared to other cars I have owned.I`ve checked the tyre presures. Is this normal, is the steering heavy ?. Also the car seems to be losing fluid, which looks like power steering fluid............. Quote

Bear in mind , the power steering fluid is also the hydraulic suspension fluid (Citroen LDS). Have you checked the level of the suspension fluid reservoir (next to the coolant reservoir, under the black plastic cover). You need to put the suspension in its lowest level to check this. bencowell Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Check the tyre pressures. The facelifted C5's have lighter steering than the earlier ones. Quote
