So this in effect makes the Insurance cheaper. what I'm wondering is how much of a difference between the 90 and 110. in Fuel Economy Performance etc ?ThanksIan.H Quote
Guest Colin Hunter Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Hi Ian. If you want facts and figures there's no better place to look than Parkers website. The figures for the Xsara estate can be found here. http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=143If you want a bit more performance AND mpg you can always fit a "Tuning Box", like I did on my Xsara Picasso which has the same engine. The one I Fitted is available on Ebay and can be found here.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Diesel-Tuning-Chip-C...p3286.m14.l1318The insurance people (NFU) charged me an extra £15 a year for the "modification" but it's well worth it. It's much improved and I reckon it's quicker than my 110 HDi Xantia was now. MPG has gone up from 45ish tp 50plus! Have a look at my "Mergi" thread in the general area for more details. Cheers. Hope this helps. :( Quote
