Am due to be fitting an aftermarket CD player in a friends T reg Xantia, have previously fitted to peugeot 206 Y reg and various fiestas and fiats.

Am I likely to need an aerial adapter/wiring adapter? Or will I be able to do a straight swap?

As the Xantia radio is a custom fit in the dash, you'll need an adapter kit. Citroen used to stock them. They fit into the hole left by the radio and the standard radio fits into the adapter. The advantage is that they have a flap that covers the radio when you leave the car, so that nasty lttle ne-er do wells can't see it! I believe Halfords also stocked one but I'm not sure if it has the flap. Citroen, Halfords and any good Audio shop will be able to supply an interface kit so you don't have to hack the wiring around. You may also need an aerial adapter depending on what fitting is on the replacement radio.

Cheers, Hope this helps. :o
