itsmywifes Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 First trip to see Mother-in-law in deepest Wales using the C3 this weekend. I have to say for a car that falls into the supermini class it is a truly excellent mile eater. The wiggly bits from Norfolk to Huntingdon (And the return on the same stretch) found it wanting, but this is compared to the Puma and there isn't much that can match the Puma on that sort of road. But once on the A14, M6, M54 and A5 the little Citroen was superb. Quiet, relaxed, smooth and well able to hold its own in the motorway cut and thrust. We set the nagger at 91 mph, it was amazing how often it sneaked up to that speed when you weren't paying attention. Downside is we are now way past the nominal mileage for the first service and there's another 500 + miles due next weekend. But as long as we can get it done, I'm afraid the Puma will stay on the drive again. ITW Quote
kelby Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Got my C3 SX last Friday, took it to Portsmouth (from farnborough) so managed to clock up over 100 miles. runs very smoothly, nippy at traffic lights, all round very impressive. Quote
AlanFC Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 What sort of C3, 1.1,1.4, 1.4 HDi, 1.4 HDi 16v? It would make your posts more meaningful guys if you quote your engine spec as well as your body spec. Regards, AlanFC Quote

AlanFC Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 Just picked up my 1.4 HDi16v SX yesterday and already clocked 120 miles, I wonder when the novelty will wear off!!? Regards, AlanFC Quote
pork_pie Posted April 21, 2003 Posted April 21, 2003 Before the novelty wears off, something will fall off. I don;t need to tell you all which car I own. Its simple. 1.4 Hdi 16V Exc. Quote
mooseshaver Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 Speaking of falling off, something on my C3 has "fallen off". Well Actualy I think it was the Dealer who looked at my car. They were good and fixed problems the Dealer I bought the car off couldn't/wouldn't fix, but I noticed sometimes a lound vibration when turning out of junctions. After investigating, I found a piece of plastic not in place correctly. And I cannot get it to fit properly, so its now in my boot. Its the bit that covers the turbo intake I think. Has a twisty thing to lock it, which does not reach the hole. And it has a pciture of a light bulb on it. Its on the right hand side. Anyone know how it fits on? Quote
