Guest gs fan Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 First question: I,ve owned my C5 2.0 110 hdi 51reg for over a year , now has 70,000 on the clock. When I first got it I read in reports and in the handbook that the suspension needs a service at 5 years regardless of the milage . I've asked two dealers about this and they both say disregard this , the only thing they say it needs is fluid level checks and replacement spheres when they fail. This seems that the dealer is at odds with the manufacturer .What do the other members think on suspension service ??Second question: How do I top up the LDS fluid if needed , it says on the cap for the reservior that it's under pressure and when I slackened it a bit it hissed just to prove it , so i chickened out.Help on both topics will be appreciated.
