Xsara 2.0 Hdi 2000 On A X Car Start First Time Runs On Idle Then Dies

my car a run on idle for about 30 mins, then reaches temp of 90,

then just bails out with no stress

 

 

just dies there is no reason i can see for this , it just went through Mot first time

and i can drive the car just dies when it wants

and there is no apparant problems i can see.....

 

i think there is some sort of fuel starving going on

 

 

!! going to replace fuel sender unit, lambda sensor think i might try the jet's too ? if all this fails im naffed!!!!!!!!!!!

drain the fuel filter and replace the element also open the tank filler and blow compressed air down the fuel lines "muck" in the lines or filter could cause this! next step check the sensers and use a obdII reader to watch whats happening while you run it!!

thanks removed fuel pump there was no filter attached..... so i have bought a new pump now i have fuel gauge and pressure..... only the car is refusing to start at present....think there maybe a simple thing i have over looked some where.
