Guest Andrea Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 does anyone know of a good website which sells mp3/mobile phone leads which will connect to the aux on the c1 audio equipment. have spent/wasted a good hour there looking for a lead which ends in a 'jack' connection to fit the aux.....to no avail!! seems everyone must have ipods (i have samsung yp-z5, and sony ericsson phone)..i've had no luck with this!! can anyone help :D Quote
750Nig Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 You will need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm mini jack cable. There are loads on ebay for a couple of quid inc postage. A mobile phone shop should also stock these. This will connect the headphone socket (of an ipod or other mp3 player) to the identical socket on the C1. Chose a length of cable to suit wherever you want to place your mp3 player in the car. Quote

I can just connect through the headphone bit? if so, brilliant! i've seen these all over the place....problem solved hopefully, thanks for that :D Quote
JenJen Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I took a two-jack cable from some old computer speakers and it works just fine with C1 and my mp3 Canyon player. :D http://shrani.si/f/2e/hr/22W1aWCp/cable.jpg Quote
Guest Andrea Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 good stuff, i've been driving myself silly in past week trying to find how this all works, ordered 1.2m leads over ebay for 99p, 1.70 for recorded delivery---think i've waited long enough! :D Quote
TurboSlag Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Is it a Sumsung MP3 or a Samsung mobile, as the mobiles don't use standard 3.5mm or mini USB outputs - you'd need to get an adaptor (again, ebay have thousands for pennies) and then the 3.5mm stereo lead plugs into that. Quote
