Lynn Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I have a red stop light and the sign next to it keep flashing on and off intermittently, I do not have a log book and wondered what these were for. Mine is an M Reg Turbo Diesel Xantia. Quote
Guest Colin Hunter Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hi Lynn. It's most likely an indication of low LHM (Hydraulic fluid ) level. Look on the LHM tank in the engine bay. On top you'll see a dome with two lines on it. Inside is a red disc. The red disc is attached to a float and indicates the level of the fluid in the tank. Below the red disc is a brass disc which makes contact accross two terminals and illuminates the stop and brake warning lights when the level drops too low. The red disc should be between the two lines with the cars suspension on the HIGH setting. Cheers. Hope this helps. ;) Quote
