Guest simonxyz Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Hi there. I am on the brink of swapping my C3 for a C4 EGS. My main worry is that on one or two examples I have tried there has been some clutch judder. I have also read about this happening in one or two test reports. One dealership advised me that this is a simple actuator ???? adjustment which takes 10 minutes to do and would be covered by the warranty anyway. Could this be the case, and can any other member throw any light on this problem? Also, is it the case that the egs system wont allow roll back on hills (the sensodrive on the C3 does not, and can be a real pain when parking on an awkward camber. Thanks in anticipation for any helpful comments.Simon Quote
BigJohnD Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Post your question on www.C4Owners.org - there's hundreds of owners with EGS who'll explain the system. AFAIK, the latest software update cures any gearchange worries. Quote
Guest Citroen CT Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 this problem has now been fixed by citroen with a simple ecu software download and will be carried out under warranty if requested Quote
