I went along to the citroen dealer in finnieston street here in glasgow to have a look at the new berlingo. And what do i see as i walk in the door ? the new NEMO ! it still has not been officialy released yet ' but according to the dealer it,s just a show model to let customers have a good look . first impressions are that it is quite small but the interior is a good size . But i got a shock when i asked the price of the base model . £9500.00 ! The new berlingo base model with the larger 1.6 engine is only £500.00 more , and it is a lot more car for the money . What are citroen playing at here ? The nemo is a good bit smaller than the new berlingo and to my mind it should cost at least a grand and a half less than the much larger berlingo . Whatever happened to the cheap entry level citroen MPV ? If and when it does become available for sale , at the end of april .according to this dealer , i could be tempted , BUT only if it comes at a more reasonable price say £8500.00 i just do not see it as being worth almost the same price as the much bigger berlingo .

Last time I visited our dealer I had a look at the Nemo. Not only is it a lot smaller than the Berlingo, but the quality is a lot worse as well. It's hard to believe someone would pay only £500 less than the Berlingo!

It's a shame they've made a larger and smaller replacement for the Berlingo when the old one was just the right size :)

I have just bought a Nemo Van, I am a lady gardener and really needed a van and it is great. I really like it, I have owned a Berlingo multisapce for 11 years. I will be sad to sell it as it has been really reliable and a very useful vehicle. The Nemo is just what I was looking for. It is smaller and should be cheaper to run than the Belingo. Must admit I miss all the useful hiding places the Berlingo has.

Just got back from the Caravan and Motorhome Show (Manchester) where I had a look at the Nemo Motorhome Conversion. First impressions were there is not a lot of room even for one person which it is designed for. Little or no stowage space and ultimately too small.

Sorry, didn't get my vote, but then again neither did the large American touring caravans that have a 5th wheel coupling and need a massive towtruck to move them around.

Sticking with my Berlingo
