Hi,

I have just had both wheel bearings on my 2003 C5 2.2 HDi replaced by a Citroen dealer at 58,000 miles which is not a lot of mileage.

The first quote was £670 with Citroen parts, but with aftermarket parts, it cost £477.

The bearing does not press out of the hub and a complete bearing/hub assembly has to be purchased at about £80 per side.

An independent would have done the work for about £320 but mine had suddenly got a lot worse and I needed the car operational & did not have time to shop around.

All the best,

Bob.
