steve wilson Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 hi all. ive just bought a 55 plate berlingo that im repairing (front end smack) and im trying to find a replacement engine part. its off a 1.6 hdi lump and sits on top, left hand side of the engine. its a large'ish plastic unit that looks like it houses the air-flow and air temp sensor. there's a pipe running from the intercooler in to the unit and then out of the rear towards the intake. the sensors and all internal are intact but the casing is pretty much destroyed. the casing seems to be clipped together and sealed with a liquid gasket of some sort. would anyone happen to know if i can buy a replacement housing or will i have to buy a whole new unit????.any help much appreciated, steve. steve wilson Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 cheers mate, any ideas on where i could get a second hand one. i kinda guess its gonna be a tad pricey from a main dealer. ive tried a few of my local scrappy's looking for a new front end but no one seems to have one in at the moment.cheers, steve.
