I recently bought my first Berlingo (a 2000 Multispace) and it instantly became my all-time favourite car. It's in really nice shape (the original owner took good care of it and he was on the verge of tears as I drove it away) but there is one problem. Now and then, I have to tap the instrument panel to get the speedo working. Once tapped, it continues working until I shut off the car. The same thing happens with the head lamp indicator.

I suspect that there's a loose or corroded connection (the windscreen has been replaced) but I haven't been able to locate the connector by just sticking my hand up beneath the dashboard.

Can anyone provide me with instructions for accessing the electrical connections, alternatively, the title of a Berlingo repair manual that covers this topic?
