Navidrive & Traffic Announcements

Hi, we've just bought an ex demo '59 C5 with the Navidrive 3D system. It keeps switching to the traffic menu (if showing the map) or to a radio channel (if on radio or media)and then just gives static. We think it may be trying to give us traffic announcements on a radion station which is too far away. We switched off TA, but this didn't help. We took it back to the dealer but they couldn't find a problem. I suspect it is how we use it but the manual is not good and it is driving me nuts. If noone knows an answer, does anyone know how to actually turn off the system! Thanks

Hi try changing the settings on the radio press the traffic button select the traffic menu then select won of the different options I think from what you are saying it is set to all messages and the geographical filter is set to the max distance lower the distance and I would think the static would stop I use this setting hope this helps

Thanks but we've tried that and it doesn't help! It shortens the written list of traffic messages, but not the flipping onto the radio. Its a particualr pain when trying to use the satnav in a new town and it won't stay on the map long enough to see the next turning!
