C3 Power Down Relay Problems

Hi

 

I have a C3 1.4 16v HDI in which i have been having a few technical problems. As i drive down the road or drive off fast in first gear, the engine rattles and the engine light comes on. If i stop and switch off the engine, the engine light goes out and the car runs fine again. I have been told that it is the power down relay at fault, because the engine wont pick up, it is losing power and the brakes are coming on on there own. Can anyone help me with identifying where this power down relay is, because as i said, once i switch off it resets itself and then the engine runs fine.
