Confussed On Radio Fitting On Xsara

good day this is my first post on the forums so my appolagies if im useless :)

 

I have a xsara 1.4 2001(y) reg, just brought it for a bargin price, but it came with a radio/casssete player.

Unfortunatly i am a cd man, i have been looking for a aftermarket cd player but stumbled because i have the remote controls on my steering wheel and i do wish to keep them, but after talking to halfords which was usless and searching on the net im very confused on what i need to have a cd player working but keeeping the remote controls working aswell.

 

If anybody out there has done this to their model and have had no problems then could they please please let me know of

1, what items is needed

2, where i can purchase these parts
