The clutch in my 2002 C5 HPi Exclusive has started making noise and I have arranged for it to be changed. The Haynes manual says it is fitted with a "pull type" clutch while my service guy is adamant that it is not and has a standard "push type" unit on standby. Which type is it likely to be? I would like to ensure the correct replacament is available before the work starts in order to avoid unnecessary delays.

The clutch has now been replaced and the original turned out to be an ordinary push type one. So much for the Haynes manual. Had exactly the same experience several years ago with a BX turbo diesel and this time I doubted if Haynes had got it wrong again, they did!!!!
