After 21 months and just under 30,000 miles I stopped being a Pluriel owner today.

I have to say like most soft top ownership experiences it has been a rollercoaster of fun in the sun and a pain in the rain.

I will leave the website I have set up for the Pluriel online so other owners can still get to the information and may even add a section for my new car...a 5 door C4 1.6HDi VTR+

Wonder would the new owner get in touch with you to ask your experience with the car. I put down every fault my brothers C3 had in the notes section of the service book but its no use now its written off other wise the new owner would have seen it when motability sold it on.

I thought your dealer would have asked for £7,000 for your pluriel as its the 1.6i 16v version. There again you can get a brand New 1.4i Pluriel Exclusive for just over £11,000.

I suppose you will be keeping this C4 alot longer now you lost alot on the Pluriel after just 21 months.

your mileage wasen't bad either as my brother did 20,000 miles in just 9 months of owning his C3. When it was written off it had 44,500 on the clock it would have been 3 years old in February.

Seeing as I have the 3 years 0 percent finance on the C4, I expect to keep it for at least until the finance is paid off.

I would have kept the Pluriel a bit longer but the time it took to get parts for it was getting ridiculous. 3 weeks for the roof cartridge which had a major leak during the wettest time of year was no joke. I had a bucket in the boot to catch rain water and that took up a lot of luggage space.

BTW a note to anyone who does purchase my Pluriel, it still has the leak, so the roof cartridge needs replacing. As the car is outside on a forecourt I would check the spare wheel well as it may resemble the Trevi Fountain, minus the coins, as you will need these to pay for repairs when the warranty runs out in June 2006.
