Hi, My name is Barry Preece from Tokoroa New Zealand.I am the proud owner of a 2001 Citroen 2000 cc petrol. Chassis No. VF7N2RFNN73169030. My problem is on cold initial start, driving up thru the gears, sometimes on reaching top gear the gearbox will "CLUNCK" and change down into 3rd gear, and stay locked into that gear. The only way you can change gear is to stop and turn off the engine and start again. It sometimes takes 2 to 3 times before the gearbox returns to normal. After this happens and the engine is warm you can drive all day with no problems.Please can anyone help? Regards Barry.
