Hi, I have a 2005 Berlingo 1.9 diesel with the non turbo WJY engine. My problems are two fold but probably linked.

Firstly, the van starts OK and drives OK if you are either on the gas or off it, but when cruising such as on a dual carrigeway or open road it has a missfire or stutter on the engine. give it a bit of gas or shut off and missfire disappears.

Secondly it seems DPO (dreaded previous owner) has attempted to disconnect the EGR valve, probably because of the above problem. I have had the valve off too clean it but can't suss out where the pipes underneath it need to connect to.

The plug with two wires is still connected but the two vacuum pipes underneath are not, there is a pipe runs across to a black cylindrical gizmo near the battery but it is not connected and I can't see where it should connect (the black gizmo has a couple of pipes comming from that are connected together) and theres a something in the air inlet near the filter with a electrical plug too it.

Can anybody give me a comprehensive discription of where these pipes go or perhaps a photo or two, I've trawled the web looking for a drawing or some thing but can't seem to find anything other than pics of the valve.
