Wher Can I Find Vin Number On 1973 Citroen Mehari?

I was wondering where the vin or chasis number could be found on Citroen Mehari? Can´t find anything on my Mehari, can someone please help me? It would also be useful to get some pictures.

There should be a red and white plate bolted to the gearbox to engine mount

usually on the drivers side of the engine and a top bolt.
