About to replace my bosch fuel pump on my van, as far as I can see there are only two bolts and one nut securing it to the block, two plugs and a three pipes also. Is there any sort of retaining device at the end of the drive shaft or will the pump slide out after undoing the bolts, nut and pipes??

sorted..i think..had a look in daylight and it would appear that the timing belt cover, or half of it anyway needs to be removed, and the nut retaining the pump drive wheel removed... vans got 120 thou on it..might as well do the timing belt at the same time!!!!
