Guest Tommy 1 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 A light came on on my Citreon C3 and on the computer it said antipollution faulty. Has anyone got any ideas about this? Have read a few topics from different members who have been back several times to the dealers and it has cost them a fortune. Only a few had some resolve but the majority seem to have problems, between dipstick being changed (mine is intact), turbo pressure sensor changed, another had particle filter in exhaust changed (no joy) but one person put redex injector cleaner and has had no probs since. Would appreciate any suggestions to avoid being ripped off. Thank you. Tommy 1 Quote
MikeLane Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Had this problem on my 05 C5 1.6 HDi. I'd just replaced the filler cap switch (wire broken or burnt through) which cured the "Risk of particle filter blocking" problem. I'd booked it in for the depolution system problem when I opened and closed the sun roof and the message disappeared! It seems that messages can be unrelated to problems.Go to a Citroen specialist you can trust and get him to run through all the codes etc. on his Lexia - while you watch! Often just clearing the codes kills the (non-existent) problem. (Cost £20 - £25)Hope this is so in your case. Quote
THOMASROBLOT Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Hi if you want some advice for your problem, the first thing to do is to check your injection calculator. It will give you some error Pcode, that help me to explain to you what to do.You can go to a garage or you can buy a OBD wire and do it by yourself. good day Quote
