Any Suggestions

In this cold weather we are having atm my Xantia's heater is blowing hot air ok, but it seems to be blowing freezing cold air out of general cracks and crevice's around the passenger foot-well... its so bad I can feel the cold air even on the driver side. which means I have to have the blower running at full tilt the whole time to even keep the car at a decent temp. to give you a better idea the cold air seems to come from the left hand side of the glove box door and along the joint between the carpet and the plastic of the dash just below the glovebox and the wee money tray thing in front of the gearstick...... ideas would be great cos the noise of the flat out blower is doin my head in
