just aquired c5 about 4months ago..no problems until last night.parked car then come back out to find it would not go into reverse.went on the forum to find if anyone had same problem..diffrent opinions but no closer to fault.next door neighbour came to assist.when he tried to get reverse notenough play when lifting leverto push into reverse.removed air intake and looking onto gearbox could see two arms next to each other..the arm on the left has a plastic buttone wich when pressed goes in and out which was very stiff.after pressing a few times and spraying with lubricant spray the joint started to go freely.must of been a build up of dirt and salt over the bad weather.so now working fine .hop0e this helps other peole before they go to a garage and get charged for something they can do themselves..
