auto_glare_products Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 hello all ,,ive got a little problem my wife has gone and snapped the button key for my picasso 2001,, what i mean by the button key is that ,,,this key is the main key that unlocks and locks the car by pressing a button i do have another key ,,,which works ok but i wanting to replace the button key ive brought a listing from ebay ,,,http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280615402631&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT this is a blank key with nothing inside it come today and ive opened the snapped 1 and remover the curcit board from it and placed it in the new blank key but it doesnt work ,,,hopefully its just the batterie so im replacing that tomorrow ,,,,so my question is do i have to have the blank key coded to work on the car ...or is it just a straight forward key cutting Quote
