Guest reevsy Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Hi, Today I purchased a 1.8LX 2002 C5. Am i right in thinking that when I unlock the car the suspension should lift? When the car is running, I can adjust the suspension perfectly fine, but when I unlock the car it does not lift. Now, Im not bothered that it dosent lift but does this mean that something is seriously wrong and I've bought a lemon? Thanks Quote

Thanks It shouldn't lift until you sit in it, then you'll hear the electric motor cut in and it will lift itself to offset your weight. As you drive, it will automatically adjust height - I believe there are something like 27 levels accessible to the suspension software. Occasionally it will lift or sink slightly when you press the unlock button on the key, depending how level it was when you locked it. Quote
Guest reevsy Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thanks for taking the time to reply. From your description, it would appear all is well! (Phew) Gavin Quote
