Guest dmv Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hello, I am still new to this forum and really would appreciate some help. I have a 54 Plated berlingo Van 1.9 Diesel. I have had a few starting problems when the weather is cold. Now it has cooled again this week the problem is back, not as bad as it was at christmas as I have had work done on it. Now it is baffling me. When the weather is below freezing the van really struggles to start. You can hear it trying to turn over but it takes a few good turn overs to get going. When the weather is warm and/or the van has been started it will start fine all day. Leave it over night in the cold and it struggles again the next morning. Does any body have any ideas? I replaced the Fuel Filter middle of last year, The Glow plugs and Battery late last year, This Year I have replaced the Starter Motor and the Fast Idle Thermostat. Like I said earlier it is better after the starter motor and idle thermostat but it still struggles. I Need help Urgently???????? Quote
