Ticking Noise Coming From Left Fron Wheel Arch..

Hi. has an issue with my citroen xantia. I have a ticking noise coming from the passanger wheel arch , when i turn the ignition on it goes off, a friend has said its an electrical problem, but would like a second opinion..cheers...:rolleyes:

which model is it? the hydractives and vsx models have computers that run on long after you stop the engine
