clinking pal only when going over bumps or pot holes or such my friend thinks it the drop links at the rear

i bought the car just after its mot pal

hi there i was wondering if any one had any info on what the clunking could be coming from the rear suspension over speed bump the suspension works perfectly it will go up and down when you push the button i am thinking its the bushes but would like some more info on this before committing to fixing it so if any one can help with this it would be much appreciated P.S. the car is a 2002 c5 2.0 hdi
