Cheers for all you assistance.This only started yesterday morning. The oil level is fine. I have spoken to the Citroen garage and they say as long as the oil level is ok and the oil pressure light does not come on I am ok until it can be looked at. I have booked the car in for investigation next week. Typical that the car has just gone out of warranty as its 37 months old. I will let you know what the outcome is. Thanks once again for you comments.

Thanks for your prompt response. The car has only done 17,000 miles and is 3 years old. I cannot see any oil on the floor and there appears to be oil on the dipstick.. There isn't any smoke coming out of the exhaust.

This morning a Oil level management invalid warning came up on start up. has anyone had a similar issue and is it safe to drive? There is sufficient oil and it was only serviced two weeks ago. Your assistance is much appreciated. Thanks
