Front Brake Pads

Can anyone tell me how to wind back the pistons on the C5 caliper, I understand one goes clockwise and the other counterclockwise, but which is which ? thanks guy's ( or girls)

Offside anti clockwise. Nearside clockwise.

My C5 brake pads need replacing. Tried to push the piston back(not knowing they wind back! until I read the above) do I need a special tool to wind them??
