When you reach the end of the travel of the accelertor, press harder (seems wierd at first) then you will hear a 'click' which over-rides the limiter.

Which means i was actually right in the end!!! :) I should have fought my corner harder... :lol:

OK, no need to belittle me. I am not an idiot. The reason i said that was because my mums car broke down on the motorway, and everything shut-off, and my dad managed to steer it off onto the hard shoulder and just managed to stop before a bridge, the recovery man put the car in Reverse, With the engine OFF (becuase it would not start) and reversed it down the hard shoulder to get the car onto the truck. Now unles my mums car has miraculously become the first car in the world to be driven with the engine off.......OR, reverse is controlled by an electric motor..... By judging the way in which you replied, you know that the C4 is different It would have been much easier to come back with knowledge which would stop me making the same mistake again, like the other people who have posted.

Not CIS, because it is a Citroen part, they dont mind and wont put up the insurance when i put it on...

Dont you loose abs after a while of very hard driving? Maybe he is ragging the hell out of the car!?! :P Im just kidding, i am sure you would have to drive like an idiot to loose abs on the roads, or just in general! :P Dont really know, was there are recall for the braking system for particular cars?

Just about to get my 20,000 mile service done, a bit early, but i asked my dad to get citroen to look at the brakes becuase there are sooooo soft! :huh: quite scary to be honest. He said that they might as well do the service at the same time, makes sense to me!

I asked the Crawley dealership about two months ago when i was in there, and the guy said "No" just as a salesman walked by and said that he had just sold the first one!! :huh: So i dont think that these cars are going to be flying off the production line!
