  1. Yep. No sweat.
  2. So. I bent the new T bar. Now the proud owner of a 3/4" drive T bar, extension and socket. Will that shift it? I'll let you know after coffee.
  3. John and Colin, thanks. The trusty pole had had no problem with the two rear hubs, just defeated by this front one. If I bust the new one tomorrow, I'll take it back "under warranty" and upgrade to 3/4". He who dies with most tools wins. John. ps. I have a Land Rover too, so 3/4" is probably a good idea. Snap the bolts more easily.
  4. I'm using an 8 foot steel bar. Broken another 4" extension. First was quite spectacular - landed twenty feet away. So, armed with new 'Lifetime Warranty' Teng Tools T handle (bent the old one about 45 degrees, and a new 4" extension, tomorrow I'll have another go....
  5. Oops doube post.
  6. Disconnect the plug/socket in on the front edge of the door. If there is any corrosion there you need to clean it (I used Viakal - soak for ten mins, rinse and dry thoroughly. Bit of Vaseline will prevent it happening again.
  7. I'm attempting to remove the 30mm nut in order to get the hub off to change the bearing. I'v chiseled out the staking and applied so much torque that I snapped the 4" 1/2" drive... It looks like a std thread, but should I perhaps be trying clockwise instead?
