  1. yeah that is an option no doubt just whether one with the rite options shows up or not
  2. i know its all hearsay at the moment by the looks of things. but there a few reasons to think it may happen. i would be gutted if i shelled out all that money and along came a facelifted 1.6t version!!!
  3. the 1.6t would be alot more useable i think on a day to day basis even if the gains are little performance wise. plus the 1.6t would be so much more tuneable.
  4. thats what i thought. it seems to be the next obvious step. plus the petrol vts' has hardly sold well despite huge citroen cashback as usual. i see the 1.6 turbo in the 207. isn't it almost identical to the new cooper s engine. i do want a vts but it would be alot better suited to be with the 1.6T lump in it
  5. Heard quite a few people suggesting the c4 is going to get the 1.6 turbo lump. just wondering if there is anything to go on to suggest this or is it just a feeling and what they think would be good. considering a c4 again but don't want to shell out for a 2.0 vts only to find the 1.6 turbo is out a couple of months later.
  6. yeah i think the 1.6 turbo could be an improvement but still not good enough imo
  7. Just because i want more power does not mean i will speed and lose my license. thats like writing off all powerful cars. it was just an idea. an unlikely one i admit, i like the vts it just cant live upto the excitement of the vxr/r26/st/cupra. its a shame cos it has the looks over them all.
  8. The c4 is the car i like out of those lot the most though. well looks wise and styling, interior, options the lot. just i was wondering if it is half feasable to do?
  9. Ok bit of an odd one here. Love the VTS and the only thing stopping me buy one is the lack in performance compared to some of the other hatches. i know if i bought one i would be wanting a hop up in performance within a year or so. how much do you think and engine and gearbox conversion to say a 2.0t vag unit would cost and how easy would it be to do? anyone have any ideas cos theres nothing out there for the c4 vts at all for serious power gains. and im guessing dropping a new engine in would probably be cheaper than having a turbo onto the existing engine.
  10. i think 2.0l turbo like the rest of them is the way forward. lower running costs, tunability, the hot hatch feeling.
  11. The megane obviously does well enough. plus i feel its all about image building. citroen have to use the wrc side more. renault use the F1 and make hot hatches that sell and help the rest of the range. no one really knows about the c4 despite it having one of the most memorable adverts in the last few years and i feel citroen dont do the car justice. the coupe shape looks faster than it is, i think its begging for performance to go with the looks
  12. I disagree. If the C4 had that little bit more performance i would get one straight away. people are willing to spend that much on renaults, look at their success now. and a company that is doing so well in WRC should use this to shift some cars, and they need a hot hatch rather than a luke warm one. if the c4 had that little extra i would get it as it has the looks over any of its possible competitors, including the vxr.
  13. hi there mate. what happened to putting those pics up of your car?
  14. I've currently got an 02 plate clio dynamique/extreme. Its a brilliant car. Cheap to run and insure and has more extras than other hatches. Can you pick up c2's for that cheap? Even if you can the clio has more spec for the same money. Bet you could get a nice clio dynamique for 500 under your budget
