I had trouble at the dealers when I had a VW van was considering a golf before I got the C4 but having seen the interior and heard the problems my mate had with the dealer and the polo I stuck with Citroen

lots of traffic lights work on sensors in the road, you can usually see the cut out in the road, there's a junction in accrington where all the taxis sit and flash their lights but the sensor is in the road so they are just reducing the life of the bulbs

I've got the same problem check to see if the service light comes on with your speed limiter as that can cause it to drop rapidly apparently, mines going in tomorrow to have a new unit, get on to the dealers took mine 10 days to get the part though :blink:

I've waited a week now for the dealer to let me know the cruise control switch has arrived how long would you wait for a part given they said would be about wed if its in stock?

I had my mum and my best mate as named drivers on my policy for the last 2 years but this year it started costing more with them on so they are now no longer on my policy.

I'm with direct line an their take on it is no modifications that would make it more attractive to thiefs both externally and internally think that just about covers everything. spoiler would last about 10 mins in city centre Bristol

took mine to the dealers said how the heck you meant to get in to change the bulbs they said we'll do it charged me 57p on the plus said i had mine for 33 months and it was the only bulb ever replaced in that time

think a voice activated one would be more useful and less likely for you to get the police stop

35 insurance was 325.50 on boxing day :unsure: with 5 years no claims darn norwich union nicked my no claims should have 9 but they cap it at 5 ;) occupation and postcode dont help though :)

if you could put a scrolling lcd message in the back window what message would you have? mine would be "this car reverses into parking spaces"

ohh glad i didnt buy my car there then was looking at an iron grey Walker Farrimond in Nelson sound a better bet they were really good when I had problems with my xsara and the other local dealers told me I had to put up with a faulty fuel gauge I think the wording was " tough you'll have to get used to it" so I took it elsewhere and it was actually a warped fuel tank

I just use one of the pledge dusters for dust and tesco interior wipes for dirty marks

erm yep been there with my mums bx, let me drive it away telling me the rad was blocked not exactly confidence inspiring, wasnt even blocked, went in there for a hose, the problem was the other hose not a blocked rad so thats a no no for me. maybe leemarshall can tell us what the problem is with the door, they had the panels off to sort the door handles out as its a known problem, and i cant use wd40, they've put some foam in but hasnt made any difference. its a 1.4 was getting 55 is at 60mph but the computer went heywire when the cruise control failed sounds like there was a bit of miscommunication so i'll give the dealers chance to rectify otherwise i'll just take the car to my mums dealers when i'm up north.

spent nearly 4 hours in the dealers last friday ;) speaker rattling in passenger door Manager suggested looking at the bass settings, like I hadnt already done that :D car display comes up in km when unlocked, they said they'd sorted but alas its back service indicator down to zero despite still being on 13k cruise control not working still got intermittent flat spot, tried using ron98 not made a bit of difference loopy mpg telling me i'm getting 40mpg at 60 on the motorway door handles sticking out got the car back after 2.5 hours drove no further than the volvo dealership, next door and turned round took it back, they assured me they had changed the mode to uk but alas back to the old km when unlocking so after 4 hours and a word with the manager about not being happy I drive away knowing that my door handles are sorted and I've got to go back this week

was in the dealers today asking for them to have a look at a few things and while I was there asked about the 20K service was quoted £175

might be worth trying cabot tyres on henry st totterdown if you need any more, I got quoted over £100 for a tyre for my Xsara so asked the RAC guy and he suggested them, got one for £63

Tonight I ended up turning the car round on the edge of a dodgy looking estate, as I pulled up to the lights the kids in the corsa next to me looked and I saw the driver say "what the **** is that?" they then proceeded to jump up and down in the corsa like pratts trying to get a reaction ,to which I refrained, whats your fav reaction been so far?

mines on the quarter light on the door, got an extension that runs under the seat and come out at the side of the seat, which makes it easier, cant reach the window cause I'm a bit short and I would struggle to wipe the sucker mark off the window everytime I get out. :blink:

Arent they still leading with some technology? ok so some might need tweaking but I think if my air bag is going to go off I'd rather have one that is from a fixed point than a steering wheel that's on full lock blowing your head off

I also bought mine from the main dealers in Bristol and didnt get a letter about a recall but it was in for something else so I just asked while I was there and the added it to the work it was in for although because they didnt have parts I had to take it back a few days later they said I would be getting a letter from Citroen but that never arrived but my post doesnt always arrive

I drive pretty slowly so it shouldnt go down that quickly its only a 1.4 and I never floor it. Just wondering if its going to be annoying when it gets to zero as the service isnt due until end of May and I'm pretty sure I wont get to 20K before then. I know they had problems with the service counters on the xsara as mine used to go awol between 10k and 7.5k <_< but it only used to flash when switching on so wasnt a big problem
