  1. I'd prefer a diesel even though I am happy with my little 1.4 most of the time . Had a diesel BX for 3 years and it was so much cheaper to run around town than the petrol, and insurance was cheaper. I'd expect the C4 diesel to be even better than the petrol but it is a personal thing, my mum hated my diesel and refused to drive it anywhere.
  2. mine is in at the moment for a flat spot, will let you know if there is any improvement
  3. yep :P the previous owner on my car was female but i bet she wasnt a overly feminine as it has a few scratches and stuff on the interior but i suppose they could have happened after she traded it in
  4. what do you define as a girls car then?
  5. :P if the cd is that bad why is it playing and not in the bin?
  6. looks very cool just noticed the reg so its a going home car :P sorry couldnt resist
  7. :D the yard wall was removed and a garage door put on so that the car could be parked in the yard but its a bit small, with the C4 being a few inches longer than previous cars the door would not close due to the handle being at bumper height, removing the handle allows the door to close keeping the car safe from the overnight vandals
  8. I've just had problems opening the boot on the courtesy car, doesnt happen with my own car, just lent on the boot a little and it opened. Wouldnt be citroen if they didn't have quirkly little faults -_-
  9. I traded a Xsara in for my C4 and found the boot to be smaller than what I am used to but when i tried to put the C4 in the car port at my mums was extremely surprised to find the door wouldn't close the handle kept hitting the bumper. -_- We've had BXs and Xsaras in there with no problems in the past but still wouldnt give the C4 up just keep having to take the handle off when i visit which is fun :D
  10. Finally almost 3 months after picking up my car it is in the bodyshop having the sill repaired, looks like it had been jacked up in the wrong place :D they've lent me a 1.6VTR until its done which is cool while I was waiting for the sales manager I went to have a chat with the service dept, the car has developed a flat spot which is frustrating, and to ask if all the recalls had been carried out. The control box hasnt been done but 2 others have so I've asked them to sort if while its in and was expecting them to tell me to sod off but no they are going to have a look when the bodyshop have finished with it. -_-

  13. I've got an oriental blue one but voted for the iron grey because i love the colour I personally feel the coupe looks more dominating in the darker colours, I followed my friend who has a cooper s to a car park and she said she stopped looking in her mirror cause it was intimidating :P

    Hi

Hi new to the forum, when changing my xsara in may I got down to a choice between the C4 1.4 VT (I know I can hear you all groan oh no not the VT) or a C3 1.4 diesel. I went to look at the C4 1st and that was it, despite really wanting a diesel, I just could not walk away from the C4, and having previously owned a xsara and bx I was comfortable with Citroens. Way i see it I've never had air con so probably wont miss it and live in a city centre where cars are constantly vandalised so didn't want to spend too much. so far happy with it although its going in next week to have a dent on the sill repaired that none of us noticed when i bought it but fair play the dealers have been good and are loaning me a C4 while its in and they are paying as you would expect. :P xav
