  1. Yeah the screen on my radio is not quite as fancy as that. I guess i will just install the cable and then take it to the garage with the instruction and try and get them to do it. Thanks for the responses
  2. Well i've purchsed the cable from my local peugeot dealer as they had it in stock. I don't have the CD changer I just have the standard CD player on the SX model. Looking at the instructions (that are in French) do i need to install the cable and then take it to a citroen garage to enable the port? Peugeot didn't seem to think they'd be able to activate it with their PC, and the people i spoke to at citroen didn't even know what the cable was.
  3. Thank you for the responses.... much apprectiated. I will contact my local dealer about getting hold of one of these cables tomorrow. Is it a complicated process installing the cable myself? I don't have a CD Changer. I've changed the stereo in all of my previous cars, i'm just concerned about all the car diagnosis ones on this one if i go pulling the stereo out. Equally though i would like to save myself £60 doing it myself. Thanks again!
  4. I have a citroen C4 SX 1.6HDi, with the standard CD player. I was going to change the headunit as i'd done in previous cars i'd owned to one that plays MP3's. However due to some of the diagnostic tools being on the radio head unit itself i thought i might go down a different route. I have a TomTom 910 with has 12GB of space for MP3's, i'm under the impression that you can connect this to a raido with a 3.5mm audio jack, similar to what you'd connect an ipod with. I've asked my citroen dealer about connecting an auxilary input to the radio and they didn't have a clue what i was talking about, they emailed France, but i've heard nothing since. So my question is this: Is it possible to connect 3.5mm jack to the back of the standard radio? If yes, do i need to purchase anything in advance of doing this? Do the garage need to do anything, i read something about them needing to activate the aux input. Has anyone got any tips on performing this procedure? Thanks in advance.
