Hi guys, There's this annoying problem that I have with the arm rest in my C4. I purchased my VTS with leather in June 2005, however for some strange reason, in the early models with leather, only the topside of the arm rest was covered in leather and the sides were covered in suede. The issue is that when you turn corners, the leather from the driver's seat rubs against this suede and makes a rather loud squeaking noise. I note that on the newest models with leather, the armrest is now fully covered in leather and the noise no longer occurs. My original dealer says to place a strip of velcroe to stop the noise, but that's hardly useful or aesthetically pleasing. What is it with Citroen dealers!!! I was wondering weather any of you have experienced the same problem and whether it's worth buying a new full-leather armrest from Citroen or simply getting an aftermarket upholsterer to replace the suede with leather? Thanks.
