Just bought a C5 estate auto HDi and really good ride quiet and just did a 600mile round trip and really pleased except one thing the heavy fuel consumption. Around town about 25-28, on the motorway about 40 and thats not giving it stick taking it easy up the geears and not exceeding 80 on motorway. Is this normal as I have had diesels before Rover av 45mpg Audi45-50Mpg cavalier sometimes 50+ even had a audi TT that was better and that had 225 bhp. bob
