  1. could anyone enlighten me as to the recommended or ideal interval for HDi gearbox oil change? thanks
  2. ouch! thats a lot less than I thought. I've had 54+ on the last 3 tankfuls on 2.0HDi, and it doesnt seem to be much different running around to on motorway...
  3. just wonder what people are getting "in the real world" mpg-wise for the 1.6 HDi?
  4. we've got the double seat out and the single seat in at the moment... quite handy but you still have three seats. I just keep the bolts/spanner in the seat back pockets
  5. the part is the same, as long as you have the sapce for it to fit, on the opposite side from the stereo controls on the dash. I paid about £35 for the part and then £35 for actuation from Citroen. Trim your own panel down to fit on the steering column.. otherwise its more cost.
  6. 2.0hdi original owner got "600 miles to tank reguarly" I was getting about 43mpg... but have disconnected the EGR plug and drilled more airholes for the grille and now have had 55 and 56mpg tankfuls on last runs.
  7. I bought one on ebay for £3 which I'm going to relist as ended up buying two at same time!
  8. are either of these cars 1.6HDI? in which case is it down to a dual mass flywheel, which are known problem areas in loads of diesel cars these days...
  9. been holding off changing 2.0Hdi because was worried about the implications of a FAP particulate filter and dual mass flywheels, both of which are problematic and both of which the 2.0 doesnt have, fortunately! I now read that the 90bhp 1.6 does NOT have a particulate filter. Can anyone confirm this absolutely? And can anyone say whether the clutch has a solid flywheel too?
  10. hi - I've presently got EGR disconnected and having massively better mpg (like 56!) but cant get this system to run with the engine light off. So I'm wanting to replace the electrovalve actuators and perhaps EGR valve itself. Can anyone give me a supplier who supplies discounted parts, i.e rather than going to Citroen? thanks
