  1. i have the same noise when depressing the clutch and mentioned it at the 1000 mile check but the just said it was normal for the c1 .not to sure if i trust them or not so am going to keep an eye on it to see if it gets any worse. it will be interesting to see what they say at your check
  2. this is what i found on the citroen website 3 YEARS' WARRANTY ON ALL NEW CAR MODELS Every new Citroën car offers the benefit of a 3 year∆ warranty package. (∆ 3 years’ warranty is only on new cars sourced from Citroën UK Limited. 2 years’ unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty and no fee customer option of 3rd year dealer provided extended warranty, up to a 3 year total of 60,000 miles) hope this clears it up for you
  3. just got my glove box lid today and fitted it only a couple of screws and 10 minuites later it was fitted another two minuites and the handle was in my hand  took the piece of crap back and the parts manager accused me of breaking it  i showed him how flimsy the handle is and i got my money back .my question is does anybody know if the 107/ aygo glove box is more substantial or are they all the same
  4. i bought my c1 via a broker (drive the deal ) and you are half right you get two years manufacturer warranty and the third year is provided by the dealer where the car was purchased so this could prove a bit of a disadvantage if you are a bit of a distance from that dealer you just have to balance up the savings against the risk of something going wrong in the third year. i suppose if something major went wrong with the car and it couldnt drive they would have to collect it
  5. i had the same thing happen with the window the other day.mine seemed to go slightly out of line and jammed half way up. i just put it back down again and it went up fine after that. was going to mention it at my 1000 mile check up but you know it will work perfectly when its in there workshop
  6. thanks for that piece of wisdom  but before i had went on holiday i had confirmed the pick up date with another salesman(who was not working that sunday) and was assured all would be ready he had called the car of .i even called on the day before i went on holiday and all was ok and do you really think i would travel 440 miles if it wasnt worth my while.the car was purchased via drive the deal and nobody in scotland could come within £600 of the deal i was offered so even with the cost of the flight and petrol it was still a significant saving
  7. oops posted twice . :o will get used to this someday

was meant to get my c1 on sunday but it wasnt ready so i was mighty peed of :o .they gave me a courtesy car (c1 with 600miles on) for my 440 mile return trip from london to scotland i drove about 300 miles at 80mph and the last 140 at about 70-75 mph ive just worked out the fuel economy and it was 51.8 mpg which is mighty impressive especially as i wasnt even attempting to drive efficiantly
