I've got a 1.9TD Xantia VSX. When I get in it in the morning it starts straight away without any issues. Yet after driving it for as little as ten minutes it has starting problems. If I go to the shop, I'll get back in my car and it won't start. The same happens on long journeys. But it only happens when the engine is warm/hot. It can be jump started. I've changed the oil and fuel filters and I've changed the oil and it hasn't helped. I had to call the AA out last night and the guy said it may be the "glow plug relay". He explained that the car thinks the engine is warm enough to start so doesn't leave the glow plugs on for long enough. Does anybody know what to do? Thanks. Christian.
