Hi. Does anyone have any advice on how to change the dashboard bulb behind the heater controls on a 2003 C3 1.4 hdi? There appears to be two bulbs behind the heater controls and the left hand side bulb has gone. Is it something that's easy to do? It's not a major problem, just a bit annoying with the dark nights looming. Many thanks.

I own a 2003 Citroen C3 1.4 hdi LX. Could anyone let me know if the display on this model has the facility to show the outside temperature and also if it shows when there is an ice alert when the outside temperature is between +3 and -3? I've owned the car for just over three months and it doesn't display anything - the owners handbook shows where it would be displayed, but it says that it is dependant on the model. Many thanks.

Hi. I have an 03 reg Citroen C3 1.4hdi. My car has been into a Citroen dealership getting a spare key coded. On my bill, they've noted that the near side front strut mount bearing is noisy. Any ideas what noise I should be hearing as all seems to be relatively quiet while I'm driving. Also, would this affect the car passing its MOT as it's due in a couple of weeks. Is it a fairly simple job for any garage or would I be best getting it done at the Citroen dealership? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi. I've recently got a C3 1.4hdi 70bhp 03 reg. It was my boyfriend's car for almost three years and has been a great car. At the end of last winter on one of the coldest nights, the washer bottle was partly filled and froze and has now got a crack in it so that it only holds less than half a litre of washer fluid. I've got a quote from a garage to replace the washer bottle and the bottle alone is £50 + VAT. I've tried local scrap yards and also the internet to try and source a second hand washer bottle, but to no avail. As a last thing to try before biting the bullet and getting a new bottle fitted, it's been suggested that if I can get at the bottle then I could try using silicone sealant to try and resolve my problem. I can see that the washer bottle is located behind the drivers side bumper, below the headlights, but does anyone know how I could access it? (I'm a completely un-technically minded woman, but I'm just hoping there may be a fairly simple way to reach it and fix it cheaply.) Any help would be appreciated!

Hi. I've just got an 03 reg Citroen C3 1.4hdi. It has the original radio/cassette in it. I'm wanting to fit a Kenwood KDC-W3537 head unit and CD changer into it. Would I need an adaptor to ensure the wiring still functions normally (central locking etc.) or do I try the new head unit first and see if anything goes wrong? If it does, does any reprogramming need to be done at A citroen garage or would buying the adaptor cure any problems if there are any? Can the adaptor only be bought from Citroen dealers? Does anyone know if the remote control stalk will work - on the rear of the head unit there's a wire to connect for 'remote control'? Any advice would be appreciated. Andrea.
