  1. Possibly Low Fluid Level
  2. There's a posting on here about the washer pump and explains it quite well. As I remember, the pump rotates one way to power the front washers and the other way to power the rear washer. Anyhow the most likely cause is a problem in the washer pump which I think is located behind the liner in the front offside wing (at the bottom of ther washer bottle). Some say that using anything other than Citroen screenwash fluid can cause the seals to swell and cause the issue.
  3. I had exactly the same trouble with my rear screen when I bought it last year and as a temporary fix I have simply removed (pulled) the two wires from the solenoid. I also have another tailgate related fault in as much that the rear wash wipe does not work ... unless I also have the heated rear screen on. I suspect the fix for both problems will be a broken wire (possibly the earth) coming down to the tailgate glass in the hinged section, but will wait until the weather improves before investigating properly.
  4. THODAV You've got a PM
  5. It's unlikely that youve blown all the speakers at once - Use the balance and fade controls to move the sound around the cabin and you should locate the quadrant which is blown. Then use the tone to determine if you've blown a mid-range or a tweeter. although from your description it sounds like you've blown the outputs on the Amplifier - which means a new head unit ... nice motor ... got the same myself
  6. My 02 plate 2.2 HDI Exclusive has a Clarion 6CD Changer hanging under the drivers seat - I wouldn't think there is enough height to fit any CD Unit in the tray as the bare CD Changer only just squeezes in. I would look at fixing some inverted "U" shaped brackets to the seat base to hold the CD Changer in place.
  7. The C5 Owners Handbook is around 200 pages (Handbook comes from a 2002 model) I have scanned the first 30-odd pages, trimmed & rotated the images and uploaded it to http://www.technobabel.co.uk/c5_000-032.zip I will continue to scan the rest as time permits. .....and the next section is up at http://www.technobabel.co.uk/c5_033-069.zip
  8. According to THULE UK you need Gutterless Foot Pack 750 Bars - 120cm 761 or T Track (Aero) Bars - 120cm 861 Rapid Fitting Kit 1223 Click here for the Thule Website C5 Saloon 01 onwards Hmmmm..... just done another search and it came up with these options for 00-07 models Fixpoint XT Low 753 Bars - 108cm 760 or T Track (Aero) Bars - 108cm 860 Rapid Fixpoint Kit 3041 Link to Thule Rapid system I guess they don't know either ;)
  9. If you pop down to your local Halfords, they have a flip chart in the roof bars area, detailing which roof bars they sell that will fit (Halfords, Paddy Hopkirk & Thule), and for Thule, which fixing kit is required, as well as the length of the bars needed for your vehicle. I used Thule Bars on a Xantia estate and they were noisy - because of the adjustment slots under the bar - Tape them up and it cuts down wind whistle. Thule Roof bars will normally support 100 KG which is no better than Paddy Hopkirk (Cheaper Bars)
