I bought a pristine Iron Grey Sept 2007 C6 lignage 2.7 V6 HDi auto with 1 years full Citroen warranty and 9,380 miles on the clock for £14,400 Because of the security features (won 2009 Executive Car class in the British Insurance Industry awards) Insurance is cheaper than a C4 for me!!!!!!! They are real bargains now.

Make sure that you only use plastic dust caps, not metal as they are the major cause of corrosion and valve failure

I know it's a while since you posted but did the eventually change the fuse box?

It's a common problem well documented over at c4owners.org with a 'how to' submitted over a year ago http://c4owners.org/plugins/faq/faq.php?0.cat.2.100 £42 could have been saved as it's an easy DIY fix

If you say it's 'slipping' but not getting any worse then I read somewhere that a 'faulty sensor' can can the impression of a slipping clutch Now I don't know what sensor, or even if it's possible, but from experience once a clutch starts slipping it only ever gets worse and then fails totally which yours doesn't seem to be doing?

I'm old, but not so crinkly and have an Arctic Steel Hatch :rolleyes: But went for the 1.6HDi and had it remapped just to p**s the young coupe drivers off when they tried to pass me :lol:

Have to say after 3 years and 69,700 miles mine sailed through an MOT and the only thing I have had to replace (apart from tyres etc.) were the front discs which wore out at around 50,000 miles. The rear brakes, shockers etal are all original and mine was an early car built late 2004 and I have no complaints over quality (apart from the very easily breakable glovebox handle)

All you do is 'nip' the 2 extended lugs at the connector together (where the blade attaches to the arm) and push down away from the arm, slide it forward and it's out. Very Very easy Reverse to fit a new one in less that 5 seconds

I want to clarify the position on this it uses the dedicated CD changer socket, not the auxilliary I actually have installed one and the USB BOX 9702.EZ plugs into the CD Multichanger socket on the back of the RD4 / RT4 head unit found in some Peugeots as well as the C2 C3 C4 and C4 Picasso which it also fits If you have a CD multichanger already installed all you have to do is unplug it and plug the new USB BOX in - it's as simple as that If you don't have a multichanger then it requires the CD changer enabling via a dealer The USB box appears on the display as 'CD4' and with an iPod pluged in you can control all the functions from the steering wheel like volume, skip forward, mute etc. Track display/names is from the radio buttons (or that's what I have found so far but not really had time to play around with it) Unlike the simple cable that goes into the Aux socket and enabled on AUX 1 the USB box has no issue with volume and charges an iPod when connected It will also work if you have navidrive fitted but won't display on the colour screen and should allow you to retain bluetooth as it uses the dedicated CD changer socket, not the auxilliary I will add more detail to the ongoing forum thread c4owners.org but the installation guide / instruction books are in the download section 9702.EZ User Guide Installation guide (Citroen) is in downloads Technical Info section and my own guide is in the Quick Facts section as a 9072.EZ personal fitting guide

205/50 17 W are standard spec on C4 110 HDi VTR+ and higher so as others have said go with the VTR+ door plate sticker 2.5 Bar Front 2.2 Bar Rear or 2.5 Bar Front 2.7 Bar rear fully laden
