  1. I agree that there are better cars but none of them make you look twice at them. The old Focus was a challenging design in its day but the new one is bland, the Golf lacks soul as do the offerings from Fiat and Peugeot. None of them have the great vision afford by the large expanses of glass nor do they have the little ' I wish I'd thought of that' touches that make the C4 so special. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the C4 is the best and most accomplished car that Citroen have made in the last two decades and it should have won COTY but having said that, that award is often the kiss of death for a lot of cars so probably best it didn't win. :P
  2. Hey, don't shoot the messenger! :P I'm happy with the performance of mine. I think 180 BHP is more than ample.
  3. This is apparentlt the latest thing. Don't know how good it would be, nor indeed what the effect would be on the engine but it does look fun! http://www.electricsupercharger.com/
  4. I think its impressive. I mean, to design out every bit of funkyness in the C4 takes talent. Good news is that it will only sell here in very small numbers. Renault did the same with the Megane and that was a great (ahem) success! I wonder whether its because the C4 hasn't proved as popular as they'd hoped and so they've 'dumbed' :P it down for more conservative types.
  5. Thanks guys. I'll try those bump stops. Think I've got some left from doing the kitchen. Love the car though. Have just worked out how to use the voice control. Beam me up Michael!
  6. Had a C5 myself and loved it. Only real problem for me was the passenger rear window relay failed. An expensive job through Citroen so did it myself for £50. C5 is a much maligned and underated car.
  7. Having mine replaced under warranty next week. Unofficial Citroen policy is that the first breakage is covered by warranty but from then on, it is the owner's responsibility. Just be pushy. Have been advised by Citroen garage that if it breaks again, prise it free with a credit card above the latch.
  8. Hi everybody! Have just defected from Renaultforums. Had a Renault Laguna and she went yesterday to make room for my nice new (Well, two year old) VTS. She is black with leather, Navidrive, panoramic roof and front and rear reverse sensors. She is without a doubt the most gorgeous car I have ever owned. I had a C5 V6 Exclusive before the Renault and a really regretted selling her when she'd gone. I wasn't keen on her looks but she was beautiful to drive and I knew I had to have another. However... one or two niggles. Every time I brake, the arm rest slides forward, Is this normal? The glovebox catch has broken and is going to be done on warranty and the coin box on the driver's side has lost its spring. Other than that, its a very entertaining drive even if it does rattle your fillings out over potholed roads.
