  1. If the car was almost out of petrol and you just put 10 quids worth in it was very probably not quite enough to get it out of the red. My light comes on with about 50 miles left to go and that can sometimes be about 10 litres of petrol. Try putting another tenners worth in and it should be fine. I would guess you'll have done that by now.
  2. I've had my 2.0LX for 15 months now and have done about 15K miles. It seems from all the previous postings in this thread that my choice of the LX was wise - I don't have the electric doors so no problems there. Neither do I have the blinds on the window so they've not broken. Likewise alarms and alloys and turbos etc. So has anything gone wrong? Or am I the only person without any problems? Well err no. But to be fair what problems there have been have been very minor. I have complained about a rubbing noise when the steering whell was turned this turned out to be a faulty air bag sensor which was fixed under warrenty but the part took ages to come. In a bout of excessive fussiness I asked for the flap over the radio to be adjusted as it was outof line slightly. The only other problem is the steering wheel is not on quite straight. I was told to get the wheels realigned but that made no difference. For some strange reason the dealer doesn't have the facilities to do this so I had to pay for that. Other than that faultless. A fine car, sliding doors a boon. Did I wish I'd bought a Galaxy? Not once. Did I wish I'd bought a diesel? Every time I sign the slip of paper that says I've put £55 of unleaded in.
