  1. Had my 2.0 HDi Estate for 12500 miles now and I've been very happy with it. There's the odd thing or two that are a pain (duff radio reception is hte worst for me) but there is on every new car - look at the trim quality on Merc's or reliability issues on VW / Audi's. Overall I'm happy with the car, although I wish I'd gone for the 2.2 HDi as most of my motoring is on fast A roads and I think that its probably better suited than the lower powered model. As others say, test drive it, compare it to others and if you get a good deal - go for it !
  2. Hi, I've noticed this as well and thought that this was to do with the suspension levelling itself as it mostly occurs during acceleration / braking for me. Its not been a problem as the flicker is only just noticeable on mine. Let us know if you do find a fix.
  3. I've had my C5 Estate for a couple of months now (6000 miles on the clock) and I'm quite happy with it apart from the fuel consumption. I get around 45-46mpg if I drive it very carefully on A roads at about 70mph, with little town driving, and if I drive at about 80mph on the motorway I only get around 40-41mpg. This compares to some VW and Merc drivers that drive the same route that get about 50-53 on the motorway and we all drive at around the same speed. All my previous cars I've been able to get the EU combined figure or better, so it seems a bit odd that I can't get anywhere near the 50 for the C5. Has anyone else had similar mpg, or is this something to ask the dealer to look at ?
